Abacus Healthcare’s Trevor the Turtle prize draw is hugely popular at Kidz-to-Adultz-Middle
Abacus Healthcare, the trusted specialist in power assisted baths for disabled children, has been inundated with entries at Kidz-to-Adultz-Middle to win a cuddly toy version of its new mascot Trevor the Turtle (16th March 2017, Ricoh Arena, Coventry).
Abacus is a long standing supporter of the Kidz events organized by Disabled Living and has recently demonstrated its popular Gemini and Scorpio accessible baths at the Coventry exhibition. With its variable height ‘double lift’ functionality and integrated changing, drying and bathing platform, the Gemini is a proven choice for safer and more comfortable bathing of disabled children. It eliminates the need to manually lift children in and out of the bath so excessive back strain can be avoided whilst reducing transfers so bathers remain relaxed and enjoy bath-time. This bath, as with all models in the Abacus range, is backed up by a comprehensive and caring service that deliver complete support from assessment through to fitting and after sales support. This friendly approach to solving specialist bathing needs has now been highlighted further by the chance to win a Trevor the Turtle at Kidz-to-Adultz-Middle.
Abacus provided a free prize draw at the show which received a large number of entrants from parents and children who enjoyed cuddling Trevor. The lucky winner of this quality cuddly toy turtle will be being announced shortly.
Malcolm Farmiloe, Abacus Healthcare Managing Director commented:
“Kidz-to-Adultz-Middle has once again provided a vital opportunity for us to explain face-to-face with parents and children how we offer the best bathing solutions based on individual needs. Our friendly and caring product specialists have vast experience regarding disabilities and the challenges families face – they are able to use this knowledge to ensure positive outcomes for all, every time. From an emotive point of view, we are always delighted to see how our products deliver a real step-change to family life, especially when a child is happier and more content after bathing. We wish every child the best of luck with winning one of our new Trevor the Turtles – there will be the chance to win another one at Kidz-to-Adultz-South on June 8th.”
