Abacus Healthcare partners with Foundations so disabled bathers have greater access to specialist baths

Abacus Healthcare, the trusted manufacturer of assisted baths for disabled bathers, has forged a new Gold Partnership with Foundations so more families and end users can benefit from safer, enjoyable bathing.

Foundations is the National Body that supports Home Improvement Agencies (HIAs) and Handyperson Services whilst aiming to drive efficiency within the Disabled Facilities Grant (DFG). It is appointed by the Department of Communities and Local Government to oversee a national network of nearly 200 HIAs across England. HIAs are locally commissioned services that ensure people are able to stay safe, secure and independent in their own home. Foundations provides a Commercial Partners programme that strengthens the link between suppliers/manufacturers and HIAs. Abacus Healthcare regularly works closely with HIAs and LAs to provide accessible baths for individuals living with restricted mobility. Therefore, Abacus has forged a new partnership with Foundations so end users have greater access to its dependable assistive solutions.
