Specialist bath manufacturing to restart

As the Covid-19 pandemic unfolds we continue our duty of care to vulnerable bathers, carers and healthcare providers.

Our services still include critical installations, bath servicing, LOLER testing and emergency repairs so healthcare facilities can maintain care, hygiene and CQC ratings. In addition to service-related requests, we are receiving an increased number of bath orders to add to existing commitments.

Therefore, we have taken the decision to restart bath production from 11th May 2020 whilst strictly adhering to all Public Health England safety guidance for employees. Initially, production levels will be limited however this will ensure current and new orders can be fulfilled in a timely fashion. Capacity will increase in relation to the predicted rise in demand as our specialist antimicrobial bathing solutions are deemed critical for infection control. Baths from Gainsborough Specialist Bathrooms, Abacus Specialist Bathroom Solutions and Access will be available for delivery once more.

Our factory will be supported by management and limited operational staff which includes office and field-based representatives. This means our holistic service, including G360 specialist bathrooms and wet rooms, will be available so ongoing and future projects can progress. New video assessments have added a remote option for clients if site visits need to be delayed.

We are 100% committed to protecting vulnerable users and our staff so will only deliver and install when safe and appropriate to do so. Our Protection Promise protocols are already in place and providing peace of mind for all involved with social, residential and community care.
